My path to healing currents
As the founder of the consciousness platform WEGE ZUM SELBST, I have been exploring the potential of our consciousness and the associated self-healing powers of mind, soul and body for many years. Years of meditation practice and the exploration of transpersonal spaces of consciousness (also in many of my own experiences) have made it increasingly clear to me that the key to our healing, i.e. becoming whole, is actually hidden in our innermost being. What I had already expressed in this context through films such as UNENDLICH JETZT or WAKING UP GROWING UP ultimately led me to the practical healing method of healing flows. Even after my proverbial first contact with healing currents, it was clear to me that this method is a simple, ingenious and effective "gate opener" for unlocking the dormant potential of our consciousness and promoting our health.
Japanese healing arts Healing currents are a centuries-old practice based on the principles and knowledge of traditional Asian healing arts. Originally developed in Japan, it was rediscovered in the mid-18th century by Jiro Murai, who used it to cure himself of a serious illness. Healing currents are based on the principle that the universal life energy of prana flows through the body and that the availability of these energy currents contributes significantly to our health, regenerative power and mental clarity. By gently touching, holding and connecting to specific points on the body, the so-called 'energy gates', healing flows harmonize the energy flow between mind and body and can release blockages. Our energy system thus has more healthy life force at its disposal, and the body directs and distributes this energy according to its own wisdom to the places where it is needed.
The 26 energy gates
The 26 energy gates of healing currents are key points along the body that make it possible to regulate and stimulate the flow of energy. Each energy gate is connected to specific organs, emotions and aspects of life. We can think of the energy gates like the regulators on a heating system, which are responsible for the inflow and outflow of healthy life energy. By touching the energy gates with our hands and fingertips, we provide the right impulse in the right place, comparable to a starter cable or the image of a kink in a garden hose that opens again. The release of this life energy makes it easier to relax and let go and leads to a tangible connection to our true self, that place in our consciousness where we experience deep peace, strength and serenity. By simply touching and holding with our hands, for example, we connect energy gate no. 22 on the collarbone with energy gate no. 14 at the end of the ribcage, we promote the flow of breath and lungs, breathing becomes easier, grief can be released and inner trust is increased.
Effect of the healing current
In today's hectic and overstimulating world, it can be easy to lose ourselves in the outside world and feel stressed and overwhelmed. We find it increasingly difficult to "switch off" and our body responds with sleep problems or certain complaints. Healing flows are a wonderful way to make it easier for your body and mind to let go and finally come back to yourself. Imagine what it would be like if you could forget everything around you for a moment - appointments, to-do lists, everyday thoughts and errands. Imagine how your body relaxes and your mind comes to rest, while gentle touches harmonize your energy centers and your inner life stream begins to flow. This natural self-awareness of inner peace and serenity is like a key to experiencing yourself authentically and in your power again. Understanding symptom wisdom and recognizing the causes of stress The beauty of this is that this inner vision and recognition puts us on a path of personal responsibility, where we ourselves are increasingly able to influence and shape our health through our behaviour and habits. As a mirror of our mental and emotional state, our body is as ingenious as it is sensitive. From this holistic perspective, it is no longer simply a matter of combating symptoms, but of understanding their language and wisdom and using this potential for our own benefit. The more precisely we learn to read symptom wisdom and take it seriously, the faster it will lead us to the underlying cause of the problem.
Now we can direct our attention to what is actually important to us and thus promote a lasting solution to symptoms. The wisdom of healing currents provides us with precisely this information, which we also find in language, through the interaction, position and number of the 26 energy gates: Worries lie like stones in our stomach - the louse that runs across our liver - the heart that leaps for joy - the bile that comes up with anger - the stubbornness that sits on the back of our neck - the love that goes through our stomach - the lightness when we do something with our little finger, or the fear that gets to our kidneys. What becomes clear is the access to an inner knowledge that we only need to uncover in order to be able to access it and let this knowledge work for us. Potential of healing currents Healing currents can be used for all life issues and can be used both to prevent illness and to alleviate complaints. The most common areas of application include supporting stress reduction and relaxation, relieving pain and musculoskeletal complaints, strengthening the immune system, promoting digestion and metabolism, supporting emotional challenges such as anxiety and depression and promoting healthy sleep, inner peace and mental clarity. Furthermore, healing currents can be used completely risk-free as an extension to other treatment methods and offer effective support in the context of physical and mental healing processes.
Unfolding an attitude to life
Just one session of healing currents can set a lot in motion, release blockages and restore access to your own intuition. Completely new approaches to solving personal issues become visible as we recognize where we are standing in our own way and what is actually important to us. Fears are transformed into clarity about our own inner direction, worries into compassion for ourselves and others. By mindfully cultivating these inner spaces, they flow more and more into our everyday experience and our ability to be effortlessly present and let things happen without intention increases.
Helping yourself by consciously seeing these natural and holistic connections between mind, consciousness and body, you can already start to help yourself with energy gate no. 26 and thus get your own life stream flowing. To do this, simply cross both hands and place them under your armpits. The thumb can point forwards and lie on the chest. This simple self-help exercise alone, held for 3 to 5 minutes, leads to inner peace, supports our immune system and expresses an attitude of healthy self-awareness.
