Sunnehus Foundation
"Each and every one of us wants to be healthy. But what we mean by that and what we need to stay healthy or become healthy is as individual as we are. Find your strength - within yourself."
Sunnehus Foundation.
Since it was founded, the "Sunnehus" has been a place of relaxation and retreat. A place where people can find peace and recharge their batteries to promote mental and emotional health. The aim is to support people in difficult life situations and crises. Together we want to find a sustainable way to promote individual health. We use breathing and sensory work as well as other therapeutic approaches to promote mental well-being. Through awareness work, we change behavioral and thought patterns so that well-being, balance and health can be achieved.

History
In 1942, the Ernst and Vera Schmidheiny Foundation had the Rhintalerhus built to provide needy children or those weakened by illness with a relaxing vacation in the fresh Toggenburg air. Later, many a school class spent their school camp in the spacious home. In 1978, the Werkstatt für Entfaltung und Gestaltung WEG foundation acquired the house and created a center for education, creativity and therapy. In 1993, the Sunnehus Foundation took over the property and had the building extensively renovated by architect Peter Stahel. Two years later, Sunnehus opened under the management of the foundation's founder, Margrith Schneider. Since then, Sunnehus has been a valued retreat where people can find peace, strength and lasting health.
