Information on the assumption of costs by the health insurance company
As a member of the Swiss Association of Spas and Health Resorts (HKS), Sunnehus meets the quality criteria of Santésuisse. This enables our guests to settle certain services via supplementary insurance.
A doctor's prescription is required for a spa stay. This is required by both the Sunnehus Foundation and the health insurance company.

Important: Check with your health insurance provider about the exact scope of cost coverage before you register. Please note:
- Basic health insurance (KVG) only covers medical services and medication, but not the costs of the spa stay itself.
- A possible contribution to hotel and therapy costs requires appropriate supplementary insurance.
Our spa physician, Dr. med. Anton Wille (specialist in internal medicine FMH), offers weekly consultation hours. For additional examinations, we work together with the Churfirsten Practice in Wildhaus. In an emergency, the regional medical emergency service is available.
