A place to arrive - living and working at WAG Sunnehus

In a world that is often hectic and confusing, the Sunnehus living and working community (WAG) offers a space in which people with different impairments can find peace and stability. Up to nine adults live together here - each with their own story, needs and abilities. What unites them? The desire for a place where they can be who they are. And where they are supported when life alone is too difficult.

Promote independence, experience community

Life at WAG is more than just assisted living. It is a shared everyday life in which everyone in the residential group takes on responsibility - in the household, in social interaction or on excursions. Anyone who wants to can get involved in the regular meetings to discuss what is going well - and where there may be room for improvement. It is a space in which co-determination is practiced and community is experienced.

Work that creates meaning

At Kurhaus Sunnehus, residents not only find a sheltered home, but also a protected workplace with the opportunity to help out in various areas. Whether in housekeeping, the kitchen or the garden - the activities are tailored to the residents' abilities and interests. Involvement in everyday life at the Kurhaus builds self-esteem and promotes personal development.

Leisure time: individual and together

Leisure activities such as cooking together, playing games or visiting studios give the day structure - and at the same time space for personal development. Those who prefer to do puzzles in peace and quiet are just as welcome as those who enjoy participating in group excursions. Particularly popular: the annual vacation week, which is often an unforgettable experience for everyone.

A place with heart

The team at Sunnehus supports the residents with professional expertise and a great deal of humanity - socio-pedagogically, therapeutically and medically. Each person is supported at their own pace and with regard to their own abilities. The focus is not on the "problem", but on the person as a whole.

A stay at the Sunnehus living and working community is therefore more than just a temporary solution - it is an opportunity for personal development and for building a positive outlook for the future. Residents receive the support they need to find their place in society and lead a self-determined life.
